In recent years, marine plastic pollution has become a hot topic in the global environmental protection field. Changes in human industrial production and lifestyles have led to a sharp increase in the use of plastic products, resulting in a large amount of waste entering the ocean. The destruction of the marine ecosystem not only threatens the survival of marine life but also poses a serious threat to the global ecological environment. Against this background, the OBP Marine Plastic Recycling Program was born. The core concept of this program is government guidance, enterprise leadership, and public participation. Fishermen collect and bring back plastic waste nets from the ocean, selling them to marine plastic waste acquisition points at the docks, thus promoting common prosperity and marine environmental protection, recycling, saving energy, and reducing pollution.
Taizhou Qiju Renewable Resources Co., Ltd. is a comprehensive recycling enterprise and an important part of the OBP Marine Plastic Recycling Program, taking on the responsibility of recycling marine plastic waste.
We have set up marine plastic waste acquisition points at the docks in Taizhou Wenling, Sanmen, and Taonü, where we recycle plastic waste such as fishing nets and ropes brought back from the ocean by fishermen. This not only increases fishermen’s income levels, promoting common prosperity, but also involves them in marine environmental protection. Additionally, we sort, crush, wash, dehydrate, feed, pelletize, extrude, draw, and cut the recycled marine plastic waste into recycled plastic pellets, which are then sold to downstream enterprises. This creates a closed-loop, full industrial chain recycling system, saving energy and reducing pollution.
